The Program
Our program is different than what many people have come to expect from wilderness survival-type programs of behavior modification/therapy. Oxbow Expeditions is much more than just a "wake up call" for the teen. It is rooted in the philosophy that true progress cannot be set to a limited number of days. Every student is different and has varied needs within the program. Those needs are most effectively addressed when the student understands that completion of the program is not a function of hours but of achievements.
